Partiendo del marco teórico que establece el autoconcepto como un motor del aprendizaje, el estudio busca identificar cómo una autoestima positiva afecta la perseverancia ante los desafíos, la participación en el aula y la disposición al estudio. Se utilizarán instrumentos de medición validados tanto para evaluar la autoestima (global y académica) como para recolectar datos sobre las calificaciones y el desempeño en diferentes áreas curriculares. El objetivo es determinar el grado de correlación entre ambas variables y comprender si un bajo autoconcepto puede ser un predictor de fracaso escolar o, por el contrario, si un buen desempeño académico refuerza la autoestima. Los hallazgos serán esenciales para diseñar intervenciones pedagógicas que no solo se centren en el contenido curricular, sino también en el desarrollo emocional y social de los alumnos, promoviendo ambientes de aprendizaje que nutran la confianza en sus propias capacidades.
