Text Any textual data included in the document El presente estudio se centra en la relación entre la motivación hacia la lectura y el desarrollo de la comprensión lectora en estudiantes de tercer grado de educación primaria. A través de la práctica profesional, se observó que muchos alumnos presentan dificultades para comprender lo que leen, no por falta de habilidades cognitivas, sino por la escasa disposición o interés hacia los textos. Este trabajo propone que fomentar la motivación —mediante actividades lúdicas, elección libre de libros, espacios de lectura significativos y el ejemplo del docente como lector— puede mejorar considerablemente la comprensión lectora. Se analiza cómo el interés genuino por leer permite a los alumnos involucrarse más activamente con los textos, lo que repercute en una mejor capacidad para identificar ideas principales, hacer inferencias y reflexionar críticamente. El estudio busca aportar estrategias prácticas que los docentes en formación puedan implementar en el aula para despertar el gusto por la lectura desde edades tempranas.
